Coach Brandon Durnell
Head Coach
Coach Durnell is entering his 1st season with the East Noble Knights in 2021-22.
Coach grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Homestead High School in 2017, where he played basketball. During his time at Homestead, Brandon played two seasons of varsity basketball. Over those two years he was an integral part of the team's success. He was All Conference, All Area, and All State in both his junior and senior seasons. He won two sectional championships and had a combined record of 44-10 in those two years. He went on to attend Spring Arbor University, where he also played basketball. and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies. Brandon has also found major success at the collegiate level. After performing well in his freshman campaign, he capped off his sophomore year helping Spring Arbor win the Crossroads League Regular Season Title as well as winning the NAIA DII National Championship. Brandon was selected 2nd Team All Crossroads League in addition to being recognized by the NAIA as an All American and All Tournament Team after the championship run. He finished his sophomore year averaging 16.5 ppg and 6.5 rpg. During his junior season Brandon eclipsed the 1000 pt mark, was a first team All Crossroad League Selection, and an All American. He averaged 17.2 ppg and 6.2 rpg. He finished his college career strong by averaging 23.6ppg (7th best in the Nation) and 11rpg (1st in the Crossroads League) as a senior. Coach Durnell is currently the Co-Director of Summit City Elite AAU program in Fort Wayne and serves as the Assistant Athletic Director at East Noble High School. |
